Notre Dame

Sadly, I experience great joy when reading this:
The Irish, meanwhile, lost their seventh consecutive bowl game. Notre Dame's last postseason victory was in the Cotton Bowl at the end of the 1993 season.

Wow. Their bowl drought is longer than the Pirates.

While the name still has clout and the money is still rolling in, Notre Dame is dangerously teetering on the edge of the football abyss. If they don't loosen up there academic requirements, they will never return to their former greatness.

Firing Ty Willingham wasn't a very good decision unless they truly plan to start accepting less than exemplary students, IMO.

Seems like forever since the old Convicts vs. the Catholics clash.
