On another topic, Holland indicated the trail was cold on an ECU move to another conference in the near future.
"Nothing is happening," said the ECU AD. "We're just trying to win some games and hopefully some championships in Conference USA."
ECU football will never achieve greatness while stuck in C-USA. I can't believe the incredibly poor timing that befelled our program during the Big East/ACC shuffle. Had anyone at all been at the helm, we'd be in the Big East right now.
This sucks.

Personally, my sources say while there is not much happening NOW, there are things that are clearly in motion wiht the Big East. Holland is smart enough to keep things quiet right now.
Additionally, the scheduling is going slow, but evolving. Look for some home-and-homes with UVA, GA, USC, GA Tech, etc... in the relatively near future.
Even if we got into the big east now, would it matter? The conference has been gutted.
