Moral Victory

I was not able to watch the game on Saturday. But, judging by the stats and the final score, Pirate fans should stand tall after our team's performance in WV. Holding any team to 127 rushing yards is pretty impressive, especially West Virginia. Our defense deserves kudos for rising to the occasion.

I want a real win against Southern Miss. No doubt in my mind that we have the ability to beat them. It goes without saying that if ole Jerkface was coaching, we might as well go ahead and post an "L" up there today. But not Mahatma Holtz.....he's up for the challenge. I'm naming my next child Skip. My sons John, Steven, Bill, Art, Ed, & Pat have been put up for adoption.....sorry boys.
