Collapse: Tulsa 45, ECU 13

Little to say except that nothing good can come from this loss. An embarrasing defeat considering we led 13-10 at halftime. Thirty-five unanswered points. That's five touchdowns. Embarassing.

This Al Myatt column from Bonesville says the wheels came off following a roughing the kicker penalty by Brandon Fractious. The Golden Hurricanes accepted the gift first down and never looked back. But Fractious is only part of the problem -- this is a sick, sick football team with much need for improvement.

Next year can't get here soon enough.

We have a responsibility as fans! As a former player, I have experienced wins in Ficklen Stadium that was a total result of great fan turnout. The awesome noise pollution that ricochets off Minges not only gets our guys "pumped up" but it intimidates our opponents. The support we get from the fans both on and off the field has a tremendous effect on the game. So if we want a winning team we need winning support.

We are at a pivotal moment with our entire athletic department. Who would have thought we could ever land Terry Holland and now The freakin' Holtz family. It just doesn't get any better.

Pack the stadium, yell like hell, and focus on the positive!

We will finish strong and from here on out be Bowl bound.
