New Pirate Mascot

ECU has revamped its entrance onto the field for home games, adding a Pirate ship with drop down doors for the team to exit the field house onto the field. Part of the change has been the adoption of a second mascot, a Pirate - fashioned quite well after the Johnny Depp character in the recent Pirates series of movies. Pretty cool in my opinion.

I have seen some videos, but none are that great to truly capture what I understand the experience to be. It is similar to before, but with the added element of the Pirate ship, the new mascot, and a bunch more smoke. The best part, however, is that the stadium is sold out for the season, which makes the entrance that much more cool.

I really wish I was close enough to ECU to catch all home games.
