UNC freshman quarterback T.J. Yates will undergo trial by fire on Saturday. Being from Georgia, Yates didn't know much about East Carolina or the feelings ECU fans harbor for UNC. Carolina strength-and-conditioning coach Jeff Connors used to perform the same job at East Carolina.He knows full well how the Pirates feel about Tar Heels, so he explained it for any of the UNC kids that didn't understand.
"I heard they absolutely hate us for no reason," Yates said. "I would totally make out with Marcus Hands, though."
Yates still wets the bed.
