I predict St. Pete Bowl. If we lose the champ. game, I do not think we will be the 2nd team picked (GMAC gets 2nd pick), primarilly because we do not put up a lot of points, and the likely MAC team will be Ball State. They are going to want a shootout, and will likely go for Houston or Tulsa (whichever team does not win the C-USA title). St. Pete Bowl would be a good destination for ECU, against a BCS opponent, and fans will travel well to a game in sunny Florida. I want to win the title game, of course, but St. Pete would be my 2nd choice.
I think we are going to GMAC. The Championship will likely be us and Houston or Tulsa. I think we will likely lose to either of those teams. If Houston wins, ECU would certainly get GMAC, because Tulsa went there last year, and Rice has a very small fan base, and will probably go to a bowl game in Texas. If Tulsa wins, Houston may go to GMAC, but I think the GMAC would pass on them and pick us, simply based on number of fans who would travel to Mobile.
