Comebacks

Even though Danny Ford has been out of the game a while he need look no further than the father of one of his competitors, Skip Holtz, for an example of someone in the college ranks who come back after a layoff and turned a program in the right direction.

Here's my list, in order of preference: Willingham, Zook, Holtz the Younger, Ford.

Willingham is probably a pipe dream, and even though Ford is last on my short list, I'd be OK with it.

I also like Paul Johnson, but he doesn't seem to be getting much ink as a candidate. He had some great Georgia Southern teams.

Hiring any of the other candidates I've heard mentioned would only serve to piss me off. And as Logone knows, we don't want that!
