I don't care if Marshall's having a down year, this was a huge win. Certainly the biggest victory for ECU football in about 5 years.

We beat a respected football program, on the road, to lock up a losing record for the opponent. The Thundering Herd had a lot to play for but still got beat. Sky Captain Holtz got his players to shake off three losses in a row and alter the air of inevitability that had enveloped the ECU locker room. Well done, Pirates!
