Henry Signs With Raiders

"With DeJuan Green sidelined with an ankle injury, the Raiders added RB Leonard Henry to the roster.

Henry, 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the spring, rushing for 188 yards on 36 carries and catching nine passes for 87 yards before a groin injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

In his third year out of East Carolina, Henry was the NFL Europe Offensive Player of the Week in Week 1 when he rushed for 144 yards on 19 carries, scored two touchdowns and caught three passes for 60 yards.

Henry was inactive for four games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2002 after spending 12 games on the practice squad. He was inactive for 13 games last season and never saw game action."
