ECU 41, Rice 28

I don't care if they were 0-4, I'll take a win over anybody. Hell, we just equalled our win total from last year.

I look forward to reading the game stories in the Sunday press, but I think the turnaround in the game occurred at the end of the 2nd half. ECU held the Owls to 3-and-out with under a minute to play, got the ball back on the Rice 40, and proceded to score a touchdown. Went into half-time leading 17-14 and never relinquished the lead, although they gave up the lead in the 4th quarter.

Pinkney was awesome, again. Three passing touchdowns and one rushing.

Yep, ole Sergeant Major Holtz knows what he's doing.

Holtz is moving in the right direction, IMO. This team is young and erratic, but if you look at the future, we are in seriously good shape.

I have not been as excited about our Defense in a long time. Setzer and Hands are truly NFL bound guys if they improve as they have in the 5 games they have played. Allison is only going to get better when Jamar Bryant is lined up opposite of him next year and Pinkney is setting the table for a lights out senior season.

I think this team is capable of running the table, though I doubt it will happen as unpredictable as they are. A win does feel good though!

We lost the lead early in the fourth quarter.
