My, my, my...sometimes I forget how fortunate we all were to attend ECU...not many places like it.
It's game day today and I believe the Pirates will begin a streak of wins that will take us to a 7-win season. I just wanted to post a pic that can be found at Southern Fried Football in the BABES section where they have posted a bunch of pictures from ECU Tailgate fields from the USM game.
I sometimes forget just how nice a place it was for a single guy with no money. Lots of beautiful women with low expectations. Pizza and a beer usually was enough to get a friend for the night...by real world standards, that is bargain basement even though the quality was always much like those two above.
Now back to the regularly scheduled blog topics...My pick: Pirates 42, Owls 20.

Ah, ECU. I remember the great beer wars of 1994 when one could buy a 60 oz. pitcher of beer for 99 cents at Bunny's Bar and Grill. Late on a Saturday night, they'd have sold all their cold beer, so they'd sell warm beer and offer cups of ice to float in the pitcher. Who would complain? I know I never did.

That comment just took me way back. Sitting on the curb across from Bogey's with a slice of pizza. Robb, you remember that time we ate the damn pizza we dropped on the street? Nobody even flinched...amazing what passed for normal at ECU. Beautiful girls barfing on the street corner seemed so natural.
