Golden Knights 30, Pirates 20

A disappointing game, but we're clearly a young team in need of a turnaround. 542 total yards of offense is impressive. Six turnovers isn't.

Welcome Thad...I believe it was Robb who said he you were the only guy we did not know on the blog.

I agree that Skip and crew will get this thing going. I look forward to seeing a Jamar Bryant lining up opposite of Aundrae Allison. I think that Dominique Lindsey and Brandon Fractious show potential to allow for Chris Johnson to go to the slot or wide out, which would give us a ton of talent at WR position for next season.

O-Line is crucial. If we can sign a few surprises, that would be a pleasant surprise. I think the true weakness on the defense really is what everyone thought would be our strength and that is at Linbacker. Serious athletes there to be sure, but so undisciplined. When they play role-based football, they turn in games like the WVU game. When they do not, they turn in games like the WFU game.

With Marcus Hands, Mark Robinson, and Brandon Setzer in the DL for the next several years and with our depth at DB (including Jamar Flournoy's return next season), we really need the young LBs to step in. Guys like Durwin Lamb, Quentin Cotton, Jarrett Wiggins, etc...must be disciplined in this system.

Again, welcome Thad.
