Bowl countdown

First off, C-USA sucks. Both Memphis and Southern Miss lose like little girls to mighty Florida Atlantic and Cincinnati. (I don't care if the latter is ranked -- it's Cincinnati!)

Secondly, I'm getting excited about the Hawaii Bowl, although I'm not holding out hope that we'll beat Boise State. That's a mighty good football team. But perhaps Sensai Holtz can work up some magic -- maybe even get Steve Logone to come script a few trick plays.

Holtz could steal a page out of Boise State's playbook. Check out the highlights from last year's game:



What a great win. We can hope that they'll be overconfident -- tough to get geared up for East Carolina when you beat Oklahoma in your last bowl game.
