Pirate Heaven In Manhattan

Well, had we not played so poorly in the first half we might have come away with a win. Two bright spots: We rebounded in the second half and we covered.

Actually, there was another bright spot. I watched the game on a big-screen TV at Brother Jimmy's, a great eastern-NC style BBQ place.

I was surrounded by Pirate fans and it was a blast.

The New York Metropolitan Chapter of the East Carolina University Alumni Association held its third annual football kickoff party and is planning more events.

Good food, good people and good football (at least in the second half) — a little slice of Pirate heaven in Manhattan.

That would have been a great road win. I'm glad we kept it close. When you're as bad as we've been, you still take solace in moral victories.

We must beat UCF.

Our D was there...they were the ones tackling by the face mask.

Damn we blew that game!
